I came to the Pacific Northwest in 1990 to attend Pilchuck Glass School and didn’t leave for 5 years!

A few years ago I went back to work on staff for a couple of sessions in my old position and made a video of that time.
Sadly, my captions for the images were lost on the YouTube transfer because that would explain why there are so many images of BOOKS and the Lodge.
Well, it’s because I was the Librarian/Audio-Visual Coordinator (aka the Library Personality) for 5 years in the early 90’s when I was on staff at Pilchuck.
So the library in the lodge was my “domain” for many years.
It was (still is) a special place to hang out, relax, read a book, watch a video or chat with the librarian about life, the universe,
art, the party last night, your recent break-up, etc…
IMHO, it was the best “job” at Pilchuck. Because everyone eventually came to the library and I met so many wonderful people while there.
